Brook Hill is pleased to announce that current members of the BH Coaching Staff have been elevated to new Head Coaching positions at the school for the 2020-21 school year.
Athletic Director Wally Dawkins announced changes to Brook Hill’s coaching staff regarding coaches Jereme Hubbard and Malcolm Dotson.
Hubbard, who served as the JV Coach for The Lady Guard Basketball Team in 2019-2020, has been elevated to the Head Coaching position.
“We think Coach Hubbard will generate a lot of interest in the girl’s program with both his positive approach and ability to communicate expectations to our female athletes. Coach Hubbard has been on our staff for several seasons as an assistant, has a lot of basketball knowledge, and we believe he is the right person for the job.”
Dawkins also announced that highly experienced Brook Hill Coach Malcolm Dotson will take over the position as Head Boys and Girls Track Coach replacing Joey Wilson who is retiring from that position.
“Malcolm is the perfect person to lead our track program” Dawkins adds. “He is passionate about track and field, has a lot of knowledge in not only the running events but the strength and conditioning that is necessary to compete in all events. We are sad to lose Coach Wilson but we are excited to now have Coach Dotson into the position of Head Track Coach.”
Both coaches have begun contacting prospective Brook Hill athletes regarding tentative workout plans and next year’s schedule.
