Brook Hill is excited to announce the construction of new Athletic Training and Multi-Purpose Facility

Construction on the new Athletic Training & Multi-Purpose Facility began this past week.
The new facility will feature a 50×30 yard covered training facility that will benefit all sports, male & female, as well as a 9,500 square foot hospitality suite on the east end of the structure along with storage space and restrooms. The new Athletic Training/Multi-Purpose Facility is a project that has been in the works for nearly two years, and was made possible by an anonymous donor gift that fully funds the project.
“This new facility will possibly be the most utilized venue we have on campus and not just for athletics”
announced Brook Hill Athletic Director, Wally Dawkins who has spear-headed the project. “The 50 yard long and 30 yard wide turfed and covered athletic training area will allow all of our athletes the opportunity to practice, train, and do skill work while being largely shielded from the elements,” Dawkins adds. “This covered facility will also provide a venue on the east end of the structure to host a wide variety of activities for our students, organizations, & families for the purposes of things like Student Life, Development, and general recreational activities. “The hospitality suite will be enclosed with accordion style glass doors, provide indoor and outdoor seating, offer all the amenitiesof an upscale kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and an island with bar-height stool seating.
This new facility will provide us a perfect place for things like moms meetings, doughnuts with dads, or advisory group meetings, just to name a few. The stairway will lead to a railed viewing area where we could have a big screen for movie nights or even possibly plays and performances, while giving prospective fans a birds-eye view of the baseball field.
