Mrs. King’s entrepreneurship class put their strategic thinking to the test in the Business lab this week, building towers with nothing more than spaghetti, their smarts, a piece of string, and a marshmallow.

Working in small groups, students had to construct a tower utilizing three unlikely ingredients and their strategic problem-solving skills as a way to explore team dynamics, communication and “working with what you have”.

This hands-on team building exercise challenged students to think through how they tackled problems. It gave them an opportunity to identify and utilize team strengths and to work through their weaknesses literally, and structurally!
