Exclusive Opportunities Found Only at Brook Hill

From the desk of Shawn Rhoads, Director of Residential Life:

There are certain things that you can only experience here at Brook Hill.  For example, you can’t go to a Smithsonian-quality museum at every school and learn about the experience of the paratroopers who stormed Normandy while sitting in an actual C-17 cockpit.  You can’t always study U.S. Government from the very gentleman who founded the school.  You can’t go and listen to the likes of Mike Huckabee, Michael W. Smith and Tony Evans at the school’s campus.  And you can’t engage students from around the world from places like, Micronesia, Russia, China, Vietnam, or the Ukraine.  But at Brook Hill you can.  I hope that you are taking advantage of each of these rare and wonderful opportunities.  If you have not engaged with our international students let me encourage you to do so.  You will be enlightened and your family will be enriched.  The best way to experience our boarding students is through the opportunities we have each holiday and break to host one or more of our students.  Currently there are ten students who will be needing host families over the Thanksgiving break.  If you think you might be interested, please contact me, Shawn Rhoads, at [email protected] and we can explore the possibilities.
