We held our first “Walk to the Rock” of the year today. Football, Cheer, Drumline, and Dance gathered at The Cabin after school. Athletic Director, Wally Dawkins, shared about how he looked up to the players when he was a child, and how there are many eyes on these young men and women tonight as they compete and perform on the field. Dawkins challenged the students to honor Christ in the way the conduct themselves, and to serve as an example to those around.

After Wally’s words, students walked to the Rock, lead by the drumline where we prayed and dismissed to get ready for tonight’s game.
