Fourth Grade Novel Inspires Juicy-O Contest!

Inspired by the story, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, by Judy Blume, fourth grade students recently held a juice contest to determine which flavor would be the favorite of Brook Hill third through fifth graders.  Students worked in teams to create  a new juice flavor. Each team made posters and presented commercials for their juice flavor concoctions .  Students named the juice flavors: “Big Blue”, “Lemonation”, “Jolly Juice”,  “Raspbery Rock”, “Fruitastico”, “Juicifey”,  and “Hurricane Juice”.  Then,  students organized a taste test in the cafeteria.  After all votes were counted, the winning juice in Mrs. Dawkin’s class was  “Jucified” created by Reagan Steele, Tessa Goddard, Kaylee Koenig,  Jabin Moore,  and Cole Gunter.” “Lemonation” made by Hannah Timmons, Von Dawson, Cade Chesley, and Kasen Reynolds was the favorite concoction from Mrs. Ponce’s class.
