Brook Hill Kindergarten students received diplomas during a special graduation ceremony. Students also presented a short program reciting memorized Bible verses. Mrs. Fritcher offered the commencement speech reminding us all that everything we need to know, we learned in Kindergarten (Robert Fulghum, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten). Among the lessons learned included: to share, to play fair, not to hit people, to say we are sorry when we hurt someone, to be aware of wonder, to take a nap every afternoon, and to watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together!
Kindergarten students learned all this plus much more under the guidance of their excellent teachers: Mrs. Haugh and Mrs. Newman.
