Kindergarten students are discussing Christmas and traditions during part of their class time this month. One of the traditions we discussed was the Christmas tree: why do we have them and where do they come from? Our classes went to Plantation Pines Tree Farm to find out! Our time there was amazing as we learned what trees need to grow and that a tree that is the same age as us (5 or 6 years old) is a lot taller than a 5 or 6 year old person! Our students enjoyed getting to see the trees and spend time learning outside of the classroom!
