Have you ever wondered if Kool-Aid will splatter more if you pour it while sitting or standing?  Well, sixth graders did a lab to test that question and learn about the scientific method at the same time.  Students dropped colored water from different heights and measured the splatter size.  Results will either prove or disprove their hypothesis that the liquid will splatter more when dropped from higher heights. This was a great lab for our students because it guided them through the scientific method, and reinforced what Mrs. Wallace is teaching them in the classroom.
