DALLAS — Brook Hill held a comfortable lead after the first period Friday at Dallas Shelton, but went cold from the floor in the second to fall behind in an eventual 51-40 los.

Emily Webb scored 13 points and Jordan Phillips nearly had a double-double, finishing with eight points and seven rebounds for the Lady Guard. AD Kuechle also flirted with a double-double in the game, scoring seven points and grabbing a team-high eight rebounds.

Brook Hill trailed 26-19 at halftime and 41-26 entering the fourth period. The Lady Guard owned the final frame, outscoring Shelton 14-10, but it wasn’t enough to overcome their deficit.

The loss dropped the Lady Guard to 9-11 overall and 1-3 in TAPPS District 2-4A.
