Lady Guard JV volleyball edged out by Dallas Christian, 2-1

Brook Hill JV rebounded from a slow start on the road against Dallas Christian Thursday to win Game 2 and force a deciding third game, but fell short in completing the comeback in a 25-17, 25-27, 25-18 loss.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Rhea paced the Lady Guard on offense with 5 kills while sophomore Zoe Hayes was the leader on defense with 10 digs. Freshman Jaylen Wheat finished with 8 digs with fellow sophomore Grace Helman and freshman Madeline Reed totaling 5 digs apiece.

Brook Hill continued its strong serving with five different players notching ace serves. Leading the pace was sophomore Julia Hardiman, who finished with 3 aces.

Brook Hill will be on the road again Thursday against Frisco Legacy Christian. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
