WHITEHOUSE — The Lady Guard scored early and often in a runaway 20-4 victory over Palestine Tuesday while Alyssa Duplichain kept Chapel Hill off balance in a 4-1 victory.

The two wins raise Brook Hill’s overall record to 4-2-1.

Against Palestine, Taylor Schultz drove in four runs with Duplichain, Maddie Parker and Lexi Crenshaw accounting for 3 RBIs apiece.

Myles English contributed with 2 RBIs as Brook Hill finished with 10 hits and drew 11 walks on Palestine pitching.

Maddie Anthony got the win in the circle for Brook Hill, going four innings and allowing four runs while scattering three hits with six walks.

In their first game of the day against Chapel Hill the Lady Guard turned to Duplichain in the circle. She delivered six strong innings while allowing one run on six hits with four strikeouts and one walk.

Parker led Brook Hill at the plate, going 2 for 3 with a single, triple and a run scored. AD Kuechle, Schultz and Morgan Moss all drove in runs for the Lady Guard.

Moss’ RBI groundout put the Lady Guard on the scoreboard in the second inning and Brook Hill tacked on two more runs to its total in the third inning when Kuechle doubled to score Parker and Schultz singled home Kuechle.

The Lady Guard added a fourth run while Duplichain did the rest.
