Brook Hill challenged itself Tuesday with a trip to Class 5A Lindale. The Lady Guard’s varsity, JV and JV2 all squared off against the Lady Eagles.

Despite all three teams coming up short against the larger school, Brook Hill coach Candise Wise was pleased with how her team battled against “very skilled Lindale” teams.

The Lady Guard varsity lost, 25-12, 25-18 and 25-19 to drop to 17-6 on the season. The JV lost 25-20, 25-15 to drop to 1-1 with JV2 falling short, 25-7, 25-23 to now sit at 1-3 overall.

Brook Hill opens district play Sept. 15 at home against Grace Community.
