The Lower School chapel service included the first quarter awards.  Students were selected based on attributes of the award. The awards presented were Scholarly Achievement, Godly Character, Leadership, and Servant’s Heart. Students earning these awards are pictured below.

Next, Stan Ward was introduced by his daughter Anna. Stan Ward told a vivid story about a painter and a mean and evil dragon that almost destroyed a masterpiece. Mr. Ward explained that God can bring order, beauty, and comfort in our disappointments.
