Students in Tina Nivens’ Studio Art 1 class just completed a project influenced by pop artist, Andy Warhol. Students each painted self portraits in black and white then added a pop of color. This project reinforced what the students have been learning about value and gradation as well as portraiture. These students are all new to the Upper School Art Department – just imagine what else they will create this year and in the years to come at Brook Hill.
