Prayer – Praises and Requests

From the desk of Ginger Bell, Director of Family and Alumni Relations:

Last week we asked for prayer for Allison Bell, ’14, daughter of our PK teacher, Stacy Bell.  She was having surgery this week to repair major damage to her hip area.  Today we have praises and a request for prayer for healing.  Here is the update from Stacy:

“She will have two weeks on a machine to prevent blood cots. They  cleaned out bursitis in the side of her hip. They also repaired a tear in the hip socket, shaved some off the cartridge to keep it from rubbing and clipped a ligament to keep it from catching and locking. Allison is in a lot of pain but they finally got her medicine where it will work. She has a long road to recovery with 3 months before a complete recovery. Will begin rehab after crutches in 2 weeks.  Thank you to all who prayed for her. It has meant a great deal to our family to know that we were covered in prayers by our Brook Hill family.  Blessings.”

Please continue to pray for Allison and her family.  In addition, please share your praises and requests for prayer.  It is a mighty tool and we will gladly use it for you!  You may email me at [email protected] or call me at 903-894-5000, ext. 6000.
