Students in Mr. Dement’s Government class visited the American Freedom Museum this week to remember 9/11. After watching footage in the museum, students went outside to the new memorial where Mr. Dement retold the story of that day and challenged students to choose someone who lost their life during the attack and to pray for their family. Seeing the list of names for everyone who lost their life on 9/11 at our memorial impresses upon our students the magnitude of the losses on that day. May we #neverforget.
