School Spirit and Flash Mobs

From the desk of Rod Fletcher, Headmaster:

There are many things I love about working at a school –  the opportunity to help students mature into Christ-like young men and women who are ready to make a difference in the world and the privilege of working alongside dedicated and caring faculty. One of the things I particularly love about Brook Hill is the feeling of community and comradery we get when we cheer for The Guard.

Today at the pep rally, I got to experience just that. Throughout the week, our faculty practiced a flash mob dance routine in secret. It was both a fun activity and a team building exercise – but what we were most excited about was seeing our students’ faces when we flooded the court. Before we could even get going, we already had students leaving the stands to join us. I hope you enjoy this video of the flash mob dance, and that you feel the same sense of comradery and school spirit that our faculty and students felt today!
