Second grade students recently participated in St. Pauls Children’s Foundation annual Christmas toy drive as a class mission project.  After collecting toys, the students delivered their presents to St. Pauls’ Secret Santa Workshop where helpers were sorting and wrapping gifts for less fortunate children. Then, students toured the facility where they learned about the clothes closet and food pantry. Miss Mitzie from St. Pauls Children’s Foundation explained that there were many needs in our community with many adults out of work.  The love our students shared through the gifts they gave will enable many children to have a present on Christmas. So, in a way, they were Santas for the day!
