Soccer: No. 1 Guard dominant in 5-0 win over Tyler Bishop Gorman

Brook Hill boys varsity continued its dominance of TAPPS Division II District 2 earlier this week with a 5-0 victory over Tyler Bishop Gorman.

The win moved the first-place Guard to 4-1 in the district standings and 9-2 overall.

Brook Hill received goals from four different players in the match with the fifth coming courtesy of an own-goal by Gorman.

Finding the back of the net for the Guard were Jeff Sonola, Sam Nechi, Zack Nguyen and Chidiebere Nechi.

Providing the assists for Brook Hill were Chasca Ortega, Winston Hebert and Mac Rose.

Josh Jenkins took care of business in goal, finishing with five saves to complete a clean sheet victory.

Brook Hill is in action TONIGHT at Sabine in a non-district contest.
