Dan Grozenski will assist in the leadership, care, and daily operations of the campus boarding student community in collaboration with house parents and mentors, while also focusing on developing structured afternoon programming. Growing up in a first-generation Japanese home in Los Angeles, Dan experienced firsthand the dynamics of being a Third Culture Kid (TCK). This foundational perspective sparked a lifelong passion for intercultural connection. He later spent over a decade serving in Christian schools and international ministry, leading mission trips across Nicaragua, Chile, Fiji, and Haiti, alongside living and working in the Dominican Republic for nine years. Throughout his career, Dan has been anchored by his love for Jesus Christ and a steadfast dedication to creating inclusive, culturally rich environments where global students can thrive.Dan shares his life with his wife, Twyla, and their four sons: Tyler, Levi (’30), Luke (’31), and Dylan (’39). Having spent their foundational early years growing up in the Dominican Republic, his sons are also TCKs, giving Dan a deeply personal understanding of the unique transitions and experiences international students face. As a current BH parent, Dan is thrilled to have his family fully integrated into life at The Brook Hill School and looks forward to building a supportive, welcoming, and unified residential environment for all boarding students.
