Cindy Nick retired from public education in 2019, with over 35 years of experience. During that time, she taught a variety of courses including; World Culture, Texas History, US History, Dance and Physical Education. Mrs. Nick received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin University and was honored to be selected as Secondary Teacher of the Year while teaching at Tyler ISD. Cindy is married to her high school sweetheart, Terry. They have two amazing sons, two beautiful daughters in love, and five adorable grandchildren. Cindy loves reading, traveling, flea markets, Texas Longhorn football, and serving in the Women’s Ministry at her church. Cindy is deeply passionate about the transformative power of education, especially when it’s rooted in God’s Word. She believes that her students are part of a much grander narrative—God’s story. As she embarks on her journey at Brook Hill, Cindy is incredibly excited to make history with her students and inspire them to understand their unique roles in this larger story.
