Dr. LaShandria Redman joins Brook Hill as a Kindergarten teacher with nearly two decades of experience in education, serving students in early childhood, elementary classrooms, music/performing arts education, reading intervention, and educational leadership roles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a Master of Arts in Dance Education, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Principal Preparation Certificate. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about helping students build confidence, develop a love of learning, and recognize their God-given potential. Before joining Brook Hill, she served as a Reading Intervention Teacher and Assistant Director of a preschool and daycare program in Montana. Dr. Redman and her husband, Covito, have three children and recently relocated to East Texas. They are excited to become part of the Brook Hill community! In her free time, she enjoys teaching fitness classes, participating in the performing arts, spending time with family, and thrift shopping. The scripture that has been her anchor through many seasons of change and challenge is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.”
