Austin Reed has been a part of the Brook Hill community since 2007. He currently serves Brook Hill as their Bible Department Chair, the Junior Bible teacher, and assistant coach in football, and soccer.

Austin graduated with a B.A. in Christian Ministries from Ouachita Baptist University. He, then, continued his education, receiving a Masters of Divinity from Denver Seminary. After being hired as the Middle School Bible teacher, Austin moved up into high school in 2011. His greatest hope, through mentoring high school students, is to get them to look at themselves and the world around them through the lens of Jesus Christ. To learn how to study Scripture and think with a Biblical Worldview will serve students much more than simply telling them what to believe.

As a coach, Austin has had the pleasure of working with some of the best coaching staffs and teams around. Before being hired by Brook Hill, Austin volunteered as a coach at both Thornton Middle School (Thornton, CO) and Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX). Since being at Brook Hill, he has been blessed with the opportunity to be a part of four State Runner-up teams (2009 & 2010 Football, and 2010 & 2017 Baseball) and four State Champion teams (2011 Football, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Baseball). Several athletes that Austin has coached have had opportunities at the collegiate and professional levels. As a coach, he believes that athletics bring many opportunities for students to learn how to work hard and overcome failure. Mentoring young athletes through these challenges proves to be a great way to usher them into their future endeavors.
