Martha Waggonner and her husband Mark have two children, Walker who is thirty two and Calley who is 26. She is a Dyslexia Specialist at the Lower School and has also taught first grade and been a District Dyslexia Facilitator and Assessment Specialist. She attends West Erwin Church of Christ and enjoys getting to work in the church nursery each week. She grew up in Tyler, and attended Abilene Christian University and the University of Texas of Tyler, where she earned a BS in Elementary Education. She also earned a MEd in Special Education from Arkansas State University and a MS in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Mrs. Waggonner loves to travel, and is working on her goal to visit all of the continents. She also loves to read, bake, and decorate cakes and cookies.
