Hunter Shattuck with his State Champion medal from Brook Hill

From the desk of Ginger Bell, Director of Family and Alumni Relations: Hunter Shattuck graduated from Brook Hill in May of 2013.  He headed to McLennan Community College on a golf scholarship and there continued his winning ways.  We received great news this week!  Baylor University has hired a new golf coach, Mike McGraw.  Coach McGraw already has Baylor ranked #5 nationally in his first season!  And he wants our Hunter!  Why not?  As they report on the Bears website:

“…Shattuck is in his second year at McLennan Community College, where he was named a 2014 PING All-America second team selection as a freshman. He attended Brook Hill High School in Bullard, Texas, where he won the 2013 TAPPS 3A state championship. Shattuck also won the 2013 HP Byron Nelson Junior Championship, and he was a three-time all-state selection and four-time all-district honoree in high school…

Baylor men’s golf opens the spring portion of its schedule on Feb. 9 at the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational in San Antonio, Texas. Follow the official twitter feed of Baylor men’s golf, @BaylorMGolf, for updates throughout the season.”

We are proud and excited for Hunter and can’t wait to see what 2015-2016 will bring for him.
