Student Highlight: Noah Langemeier

We will take any opportunity we get to highlight our amazing students and the impact they have made at Brook Hill! Noah Langemeier has been a Brook Hill student for 9 years! Since joining Brook Hill he has been involved in Student Government, Football, Basketball, National Honor Society, Golf, Tennis, Track, our Student Ambassador program, FCA, and Texas Bank and Trust Student Board. Noah is an impactful and intentional leader on our campus! He serves as Student Body President, Chairman of the Texas Bank and Trust Student Board, President of National Honor Society, Varsity Football Captain, Varsity Basketball Captain, and FCA Club Leader. Read below to hear more about how Brook Hill has impacted Noah and his life as a student!

STUCO Pres! We have been so proud to watch you grow into a leader here at Brook Hill. How has your involvement and now leadership in STUCO impacted your journey here at Brook Hill?

“Being a part of leading the student body has allowed me to get to know people I never would have known. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to learn how to be aware of other’s needs.”

And you are great at that! What is one of the top memories you have had at Brook Hill so far?

“One of my top memories from Brook Hill is All Orange week from this year. It was so awesome to see people in one place worshiping the Lord like that. It was even more special for me because of how I was able to see the Lord move in the hearts of friends that I’ve had for years. There is nothing more life-giving than that.”

Love that! What is something that you love about being a student at Brook Hill?

“I love the unique environment at Brook Hill. I have the opportunity to go to a school where kids can grow in their faith no matter where they are on their spiritual journey. Brook Hill is one of the rare schools where teachers genuinely care about their students.”

We love that about BH too! Which teacher has impacted you the most so far? Why?

“Mr. Soldi has had the most influence on who I am today. He taught me the value of education. It’s not the grade that you finish with that matters. What matters is discovering the process of learning, and being able to apply that process to life.”

We are glad that Mr. Soldi has set you up for success in college! Speaking of, you are leaving us next Spring!
What are your hopes and dreams for the future beyond Brook Hill?

“Leaving Brook Hill will be really difficult, but I’m really excited for the next step and I feel very prepared. I know I want to go to college and get a degree in Business, but I really want to use that time to help make a difference in the lives of kids who feel lost.”

And we know you will! How has your own relationship with Christ grown over the years while you have been at Brook Hill?

“I grew up in a Christian home, and my faith is largely because of my parents. However, the growth that I have experienced in my faith is largely because of Brook Hill. Brook Hill gave me an outlet to find people my age who have a deep desire to seek Christ.”

WE ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE NOAH’S LEADERSHIP ON CAMPUS, AND WE KNOW HE WILL BRING THAT QUALITY TO A LUCKY COLLEGE CAMPUS NEXT FALL. HAVE AN AMAZING SENIOR YEAR, STUCO PRES! WE WILL BE CHEERING YOU ON ALONG THE WAY.
