Sixth graders have been learning tons about volcanoes.  As part of the unit, each student researched a specific volcano and designed a folder with the information they learned.  During class, students placed folders on their desks in the science lab and students went for a Volcano Walk around the classroom recording different facts about the volcanoes that were researched.  Students were amazed at how different the volcanoes were and how many places in the world are home to volcanoes.
