The Guard Charge is the Right Way to Live

Rod Fletcher, The Brook Hill School Headmaster, visited the Lower School chapel service this week. He expressed his thankfulness to all the students for coming to Brook Hill adding that he has been praying and hoping that God would send all these students to Brook Hill. Then, he talked about “The Guard Charge”. “The Guard Charge” is the right way to live”, said Mr. Fletcher, and he used a carpenter analogy. Fourth grader, Maddox Nelson, explained it this way. “If you were a carpenter you would use a hammer to pound a nail. But if you were a carpenter and you used an iPhone to pound a nail like Mr. Fletcher showed us on stage, then the iPhone would break. If you do not follow the “Guard Charge”, you would be like the carpenter using an iPhone. Your life would break apart.”
