From the desk of Ginger Bell, Director of Family and Alumni Relations:

Mr. Dement and I were recently talking about how the vision that was laid upon his heart by our Father and etched out on a Master Plan, is continuing to unfold right before our eyes! The near completion of the Boarding Village, a major component of that Master Plan, is further evidence of our God’s favor being shown upon our school. He has, and is, truly blessing us. From the very beginning, prayer has played an integral part in the growth of Brook Hill. Mr. Dement and a handful of high school junior boys, the Accountability Group, literally prayed the school into existence. And, I’m proud to say the children of some of those young men are now attending this school.

And, prayer is every bit as important to the life of the school today as it was 25 years ago. If you would like to add your prayers to the others who cover this school, we have a couple of options for you. On Thursday, August 23, we invite you to join us at 8:30 a.m. as we pray over Brook Hill during our annual Prayer Walk. We will meet in front of The Cabin and walk and pray in small groups over the whole campus. Everyone is welcome. This has proven to be a very special time for those of us who have participated over the years.

The second option is specifically for moms. Please consider joining our Moms in Prayer group. This is a group of moms who meet once a week to pray over specific needs of our community and express gratitude for the praises that are shared. You don’t have to be a ‘perfect’ pray-er to join us…or even to pray out loud if you are not so inclined.  We just know God hears our prayers and joins us as we pray together. Matthew 18:20.  We will be sharing more information soon regarding the day and time our group will meet, but until then, please begin praying about your involvement.
