Humanities 9 uses the theme of “Homecoming” from the Odyssey to explore the concept of “home” in our own lives. They wrote thoughtful journal entries responding to questions like: what is “home”? What is the difference between a “house” and a “home”? and Why do we long or yearn for a home? Their insight was full of entries concerning phrases like: “home is comfort, peace, safety, Jesus, warmth, relaxing, parents, family, memory, and emotional connections and friends”. Our freshman class is full of deep thinkers!

Maddi Travis even wrote her entry in the shape of a house 🙂 too cool!
