From the desk of Candise Wise, Head Volleyball Coach:

The 2017-18 Lady Guard Volleyball Season is well underway. The girls have fought through a tough preseason and have grown to become more of a team each time they step on the court. Yesterday, instead of practicing our skills on the court we bonded more as a team. Guest speaker Jenny Sowers, previous women’s director at Pine Cove Woods, paid our team a visit to share with us about becoming a “first follower.” Jenny shared and prayed over the girls for the season. She challenged the girls to be a team that exemplifies the body of Christ on the court by serving and giving it their all on the court.

Our district play opens up next week on Thursday, September 21 at Grace Community School. The JV will play at 5:30 PM with the Varsity following at 6:30 pm. Come support your Lady Guard as they work towards that District Title!
