Among other weekend opportunities, many of our boarding students enjoyed a beautiful day at the Tyler Caldwell Zoo!

Mr. and Mrs. Longenecker led the outing, allowing boarding students to enjoy seeing some animals from their home countries and also get acquainted with other wildlife they had not seen before. Everyone paused mid-day to get a treat at the snack shack while observing the elephants and giraffes in the African exhibit. Other weekend activities included Open Mic Night at the Coffee Cabin and a trip to Dallas to visit the North Park Mall near University Park.

Our boarding students and residence life faculty have fostered an engaged community of students who are learning and living alongside one another in such a cool way! We love getting to be a part of their lives for this season!
