Earth Models in 6th Grade

6th grade is learning about the layers of the earth in science.  To demonstrate their understanding, students made 3D models showing each layer in the correct proportion and a fact about each layer. Models ranged from cake to Rice Krispies to clay and beads.  Creativity was flowing in Ornelas room 105!
