In his latest essay published at Public Discourse, the journal of the Witherspoon Institute at Princeton, Mr. Soldi draws from his work in the Culture Club and argues that culture, informed by religion, is the driving force of history, and that cult, in the sense of “worship,” is the wellspring of culture.
