GRATITUDE AND GROWTH
HEADLINES: A MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL, ROD FLETCHER
As I reflect on how Brook Hill has grown over the past 23 years I’m grateful for the way our community has been willing to grow, trust, and celebrate together.
Last year, as we crossed the finish line into summer I remember asking the Lord where we could grow, and how we should move forward stewarding our vision and commitment to excellence as we offer a Christ-centered college-prep education to our students.
As we listened to our families, to the needs of our students, and the Lord it led us into a year of beginnings. We have started new programs, added new administrative leadership, and have created new learning spaces.
All of this equals new relationships, new opportunities for growth, knowledge, discovery, celebration, and the continued hope that comes with a campus that is fully alive, and firmly on mission.
These past few weeks we have celebrated growth in our Admissions process by moving to an expert recommended Continuous Enrollment model for our school which will provide convenience for our families while allowing us to serve them better.
With the spring semester comes re-enrollment, and as I see families commit to another year in our BH family, I am both humbled and honored. I find myself passionate to continue serving families and students with excellence and feel thankful for a faculty and staff that share this vision.
As Head of School my commitment to steward that vision and the resources the Lord has blessed BH with is what compels me to champion new programs and create new opportunities for our students.
Beginnings are exciting and we have felt that this year with spaces like our Graves Center for Innovation and Media Lab, our Business Lab, a newly enhanced Lower School LEAP Lounge, Lower School Innovation Center, new class options, clubs, and campus improvements.
As we meet the expanding needs of our community this year you will see an additional $200 per student increase along with our traditional 3-4% yearly tuition adjustment. This increase in tuition for the 2020-2021 school year will allow us to build on our new beginnings from this year and continue to strengthen the foundations already in place. As always, we are committed to affordability for our families and financial aid is available through our Admissions Office.
My commitment, our commitment, to steward Brook Hill’s resources with integrity and excellence stem directly from our passion to provide you, our Brook Hill families with the best return on your investment – students who love the Lord and are fully prepared for college and whatever the Lord may lead them to pursue next.
It is with that charge that we celebrate all that is happening this year, and continue the work of building for the next!
