Mrs. Eden’s class concluded their poetry unit Wednesday as the students presented poetry notebooks filled with original poems to their classmates. The students inspected each other’s poems and illustrations and enjoyed seeing each other’s creativity and wit through their writing.

AP Biology students in Mrs. Brunson’s class separate DNA fragments using gel electrophoresis. The DNA fragments resulting from cuts made using restrictive enzymes can be separated by size as they migrate through gel plates when an electrical current is applied.

Thursday, February 6, marked the 100th day of school at the Brook Hill Lower School. Prekindergarten, kindergarten and first grade students and teachers celebrated the day with educational math activities. Kindergarten students wore capes covered with 100 things. Discovering Dinosaurs

Prekindergarten students recently learned about dinosaurs during class lessons and in the library. Their culminating event was “The Dinosaur Disco!” Students wore dinosaur masks while enjoying dinosaur activities.
