Second Grade Hoedown

The second grade “Hoedown” was the culminating event to the second grade study of Texas.  Students showed off their dancing skills along with listening skills, following directions, and left and right directionality.  By the end of the program, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Brashier even had those parents dancing!

Explorer’s Day

Third graders are learning about the journeys of early explorers such as Ferdinand Magellan. While reading the biography of Ferdinand Magellan, they learned about navigation tools such as the cross-staff and astrolabe.
