Celebrating Cinco de Mayo

Spanish 3 students celebrated Cinco de Mayo on Thursday by sampling some traditional Mexican goodies. Students enjoyed Jarritos Mexican sodas, pan dulce (sweet bread) and ensalada de nopales (cactus salad). Of course, we added chips and salsa since we are in Texas and you can’t celebrate anything here without some good Tex-Mex chips and salsa!

Boarding Students Attend Rangers Baseball Game

This past weekend our boarding community traveled to Arlington to watch the Rangers take on the Angels in one of America’s quintessential sports: baseball. Students enjoyed hot dogs, hanging out with friends, and spending a beautiful Saturday at the ballpark. To make the trip even better, the Texas Rangers won 7-2!
