Students and faculty welcomed The Virginia Military Institute to The American Freedom Museum this past week. Representatives shared admissions information about the Institute and answered questions. Students in Mrs. Bell’s Pre-K enjoyed reading their sight word books outside on The Fortress as they enjoyed the first week of spring. They completed a sight word sheet and wrote the word “see” as they discussed things to see outside.

Pre-K gets to bring insects into class

Pre-K studied insects last week and enjoyed hunting for insects and bringing them into the class to examine and observe. They learned all the body parts of an insect. They also made caterpillars with green grapes.
