On Saturday the Guard Chorale competed in the TAPPS 4A State Vocal Contest at The University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Prekindergarten students witnessed the hatching of several baby chicks. One even hatched during chapel and students excitedly counted one, two, three chicks when they returned to class. Mrs. Fritcher said, “We should name them A,B, and C!”
PreKindergarten students recently discovered that clean hands spread less germs than dirty hands! They experimented touching slices of bread with dirty hands and clean hands and then waited a few days to see what happened to the bread. The results are pictured below. We now know why we need to wash our hands!
First graders were able to complete a lab project thanks to fourth grade friends from Mrs. Ponce’s class. The task was to type a list of describing words using a Word document. Then the students copied and pasted the list to create a “word cloud” called a Wordle.
