In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, Brook Hill’s Pre-K through 1st grade classes celebrated the author today by dressing up as characters from his books and having special guests come to their class to read them their favorite Dr. Seuss book.

Mrs. Brindley was all about making Oobleck with second graders in honor of Dr. Seuss’s Bartholomew and the Oobleck. Oobleck is an example of a non-Newtonian fluid and is both a liquid and solid.

Middle Schoolers involved in Fine Arts were busy last weekend performing a one-act play directed by Glenn Ballard and Jr. Oklahoma directed by Patti Eden. Their audience enjoyed “country” food and then two fun shows.

Fourth grade students completed a mini-research project about Dr. Seuss and typed a report about this amazing author who made such an impact on children’s literature.

Second grade LEGO club members built models with one and two axles and then compared which one was easier to steer. One of the members loves LEGOs so much that she was inspired to write a book and share it with the entire group.
