Famous Tall Texan Presentation by Fourth Graders

Fourth graders  spent many hours researching a famous Texan from the past and creating a PowerPoint in the computer lab. PreK Leads Chapel

Our PreK students lead the lower school in chapel this week. Students sang songs about God and shared with our student body about their Faith in Christ. Some students shared verses, others displayed drawings they made about God, and still others explained what they loved about Jesus.

2nd Grade Grand Ball

Second graders spent three weeks  devoted to Fairy Tales. They read fiction and non-fiction books about the Renaisance and medieval time period. Students also studied and compared  the well-known story of Cinderella with other similar tales around the world, learning how different countries such as  France, Africa, China, Egypt, India, Korea and Native Americans have adapted the story. Students learned about the elements […]

Making Bilingual Cards and Solving Puzzles in Spanish Class

Spanish students have been busy recently! 5th graders made bilingual Mother’s Day cards for their moms the Friday before Mother’s Day.  It gave the students practice in Spanish and moms best wishes in both languages. 1st grade girls also worked on their Spanish by doing a puzzle during Spanish center time.
